Set in the sands, surf, and sunset of Guanacaste, Costa Rica, Lacie and Billy vowed to be each others teammates forever and always in the most beautiful beach wedding EVER!
This particular wedding was extra special for Tyler and I; because, Lacie is truly one of the most amazing human beings we've ever known! Originally from New England, Lacie has traveled the world following her adventurous spirit, a spirit that found its perfect partner in Billy who is a professional pilot!
Lacie and Billy now plan to call Costa Rica their home, but for Tyler and I, this was a destination wedding! And whether we are photographing a wedding in Lufkin, Texas or on the Pacific sands, we LOVE getting to capture all the little details that make each couple's day unique to them! From driftwood, to a dreamy white dress, the whole day was full of just the right details!
After a morning of getting ready at the amazing beach house, we loaded into shuttles for a short drive to the ceremony site, a secluded cove outside of Tamarindo. It was so cool to see how many people flew in from the states to support Lacie and Billy on their wedding day! Family and friends filled the seats, while iguanas strolled through the surrounding brush and howler monkeys played in the treetops directly above the ceremony!
The sun had almost hit the horizon as the ceremony came to a close, so after capturing a few family photos, we stole Mr. and Mrs. Billy Haines away to a spot on the beach to capture these precious moments! We love these images so much; because, they will forever hold the joy that these two felt on the most important day of their lives!
We were the last four people on the beach that night, and after taking one final breath to soak in the serenity of the scene, we loaded into Billy's truck and headed to the reception where the party was already underway! Delicious food, crazy dance moves, laughter, tears, and prayers were shared throughout the evening; it was a perfect ending to a perfect day!

When we first met you in Cordoba, Argentina, we knew right away what a gift it would be to get to know you! You demonstrated what life can look like when you walk moment to moment in the abundant peace and joy that only God can offer! In addition to your beautifully infectious spirit, one of our favorite things about you was how you dreamed of living the rest of your life serving God alongside the man of your dreams! After meeting Billy, we know why your heart carried this dream so fiercely. You two are perfect for one another, and we can't wait to see how God uses you to change the world together!
