An Education-Intensive Photography Retreat

We’ve been there, and we remember asking ALL the questions!

• How can I help my clients feel comfortable on camera?

• How can I refine my editing process?

• What should I be charging?

And the list goes on!

For us, the answers came through a seven year journey of continuous learning. We read all the articles, followed all of the social media influencers, paid thousands of dollars for education, and leveraged a whole lot of trial and error.

And in the end, it was all worth it! It is an amazing honor to be trusted to capture the most important moments in people’s lives and an amazing blessing to have a reliable stream of income that allows for maximum flexibility for our family and our schedules. In so many ways, growing a photography business is entrepreneurship at its sweetest.

But when we look back at that journey, there certainly are some things we wish we had pursued or done differently, namely, we wish we had connected early on with a LOCAL community of photographers who we could learn from, grow with, and mutually support along the way. In fact, the absence of a local network of other photographers and mentors effectively doubled the timeline for our business growth.

And we want more for the next generation of photographers (that’s you)! We believe you can go further, faster, with fewer regrets, and that is where this retreat comes in…

WHAT: 3 Day Education-Intensive Photography Retreat

WHEN: May 31- June 2, 2024

WHERE: Lake Livingston, Texas

COST: $1495

Located at a gorgeous private lake home, this retreat is designed to put you in the right space to get rested, feel inspired, and focus on your growth! The weekend will be an education intensive including focused sessions covering:

• Shooting

• Editing

• Posing

• Business Tips and Tricks (and so much more)

There will also be an opportunity for hands on learning and application as you shadow us on a live client shoot!
