Set in the quiet East Texas countryside, Taylor and Dakota's timeless wedding was the perfect blend of elegance and southern charm.
Soft pink shoes and flowing bridesmaids' dresses paired with the cool white tones of the bridal bouquet were the perfect compliment to Taylor's stunning dress, ring, and bridal jewelry!
These two were some of the first people we met when we moved to Lufkin last Summer, so by the time their February wedding rolled around, they already felt like old friends! Watching them spend time with their wedding party gave us a glimpse into the kind of joy Taylor and Dakota bring to the lives of the people they know the best! The sound of laughter echoed across their GORGEOUS venue, Shelton's Place, throughout the entire day!
After drizzling all morning, the skies took a breath and the rain stopped, just in time for the ceremony to begin!
It was such an intimate ceremony; only their closest relatives stood near the altar while other guests watched from a nearby covered patio.
The anticipation of the moment spilled over into sweet tears as Taylor's Daddy gave her to Dakota and the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. locked eyes...AND THEN...
...THIS HAPPENED!!
As guests filled the reception hall to jump start the party, Taylor and Dakota peeled away for a few quiet moments to themselves!
Their smiles held more life and their eyes held more peace in those moments together than at any other point in the day!
The wedding celebration continued into the night with delicious barbecue, cake and desserts, a photo booth, and dancing to live country music from Joey Greer!
And as the night drew to a close, these two shared one last kiss under a sky full of sparklers!
