Lucy&Luis

Set in the sweet sands of West Texas, Lucy and Luis' April wedding was perfect in a million different ways!

Our day began in Andrews, Texas, where Lucy and her girls, including her adorable daughter, Emerie, spent the morning sharing sweet laughs and big smiles as each of them prepared for this very special day! Lucy is such a great momma! You can see the care and love she has for her sweet girl in her eyes!

Anticipation continued to build as the girls climbed into a hummer limousine and headed off toward the St Stephen's Catholic Church in Midland, Texas, where the ceremony was being held! The 30 minute ride to the church flew by...everyone was having so much fun!

Once we arrived at St Stephen's, the girls slipped into their dresses, and the boys put on their jackets! The love, joy, and peace shared by family and friends filled each room of the church with the sweetest atmosphere. No words could express how grateful we felt to be photographing each intimate moment.

With flower girl crowns in place and every tie having been straightened, it was time for the moment Lucy and Luis had been waiting for, their wedding ceremony! Once all of the guests had found their seats in the grand white sanctuary, the music was cued, and the processional began! Luis and Lucy's daughter, Emerie, shuffled down the aisle toting the cutest sign, announcing the upcoming entrance of her mommy! Luis' eyes were brimming with excitement and emotion as Lucy burst through the threshold wearing the most contagious smile anyone ever did see!

Each unique moment in the ceremony added a layer of promise to the life these two will build together. Beautiful hymns and prayers were offered, vows and rings were exchanged, communion was observed, and a candle was lit to symbolize the two becoming one! Soon, all that was left was a kiss, and with that, these two lovebirds were married!

All of the guests then made their way to the Ever After Venue in West Odessa, Texas, for the reception! The venue featured flowing fabric and soft shades of pink lighting...the whole scene was like something out of a fairy tale! Dear friends joined together to prepare and serve an amazing spread of food, and as plates were filled and drinks were poured, the party began!

As the celebration continued inside, Lucy and Luis were able to sneak away for a few quiet moments together. There is nothing better than seeing two people enjoy each other the way these two do. Every laugh was genuine, every smile was infectious, and every kiss was sweet! Moments like these are the moments we live for as wedding photographers.

We dare you to try to keep from smiling as you scroll through these husband/wife portraits! It can't be done! They are undoubtedly some of our favorite images of the wedding day, and we think you'll agree!!

As the sun settled below the horizon, the West Texas sky transitioned from shades of glowing orange and pink to soft blues and purples. The day was done, but the night had just begun!

When Lucy and Luis returned to their reception, the party had been cranked up a couple of notches, so they hit the floor to show off their sweet dance moves! And boy, did they have some moves!! Haha!! This was one of the wildest weddings we've ever photographed! Needless to say, everyone had a ton of fun!

The celebration continued late into the night, but it ended just as sweetly as it had begun, with Luis kissing his bride under a sky full of stars!

Collette and Sean's Romantic Italian Wedding

We had the opportunity to capture Collette and Sean's beautiful, Tuscan themed wedding at Casa Bella in Andrews, Texas. The moment I spoke to Collette on the phone, I knew she'd be a dream bride. She was so incredibly kind and spoke from a truly grateful heart. I was so excited they chose to trust me as their wedding photographer!

Their June wedding was filled to the brim with thoughtful details and personal touches! Collette hand-dyed and creatively put together her granddaughter, Kate's, one-of-a-kind flower girl dress. Sean and Collette also made mix tapes for each other, and handed out a copy of each to their guests as wedding favors. It was clear that family and friends were important to them. Their family style dinner allowed for everyone to gather around one long, stunning table and break bread. I loved watching their loved ones share in this monumental day with them!

Joe's Italian Restaurant served one of the best Italian meals I've had, and Sean and Collette offered wedding cake and a cheesecake bar for dessert! How fun! Right? Their sweet day ended with laughter and smiles surrounding them as they danced in each other's arms under the stars.

Thank you to Collette and Sean for trusting us! It was an such an honor to be a part of your lovely story!
