A beautiful blend of elegance and country charm, Presley and Will’s November wedding was equal parts fairy-tale and fun!

After initially connecting through our Instagram feed, we had the privilege of meeting Presley for lunch on the river in Belton, Texas! We couldn’t help but be excited as Presley told us about her history with Will and their plans for their dream wedding!

She did such an amazing job planning each and every detail! From her breathtaking bouquet to her custom leather heels, the entire day was a perfect reflection of their personalities!

And while there’s no denying that the details of the day were unique to the soon-to-be-Mr.-and-Mrs.-Turner, it was the intentionally intimate moments that made this day so special!

We just loved seeing the looks on her dad and grandfathers’ faces when Presley came out to show them her dress for the very first time!

Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, Tenroc Ranch proved to be an amazing venue for capturing gorgeous portraits! We just love Texas in the Fall!

Presley and Will had such an unforgettable ceremony. Will’s reaction as his bride made her way down the aisle was so sweet! And we understand why his breath was taken away; Presley was so gorgeous making her way down the hill in her timeless Allure dress and her custom cathedral length veil!

A glow-y sunset made for some dreamy husband-and-wife portraits! It was so apparent that these two really love each other and have fun together!

The rest of the evening was highlighted by signature drinks, sweet treats, and a lot of laughter; we just love it when the wedding atmosphere is full of joy and peace!

The O’Connor wedding was O’Mazing; Angie and David are so much fun! Filled to overflow with laughter, their East Texas Wedding was such an infectious environment. We can’t wait to invite you in…

For their dream day, Angie and David chose a venue that was 30 miles southwest of Tyler in the small Texas town of Murchison. We pulled into town early that October morning, eager to see what this venue had in store! Quiet and quaint, Murchison is the picture of small-town-USA, and Stone Oak Ranch captured the best pieces of its country charm and combined them with a truly grand vision! A shimmering pond, majestic shade trees and breathtaking chandeliers made it clear that Stone Oak Ranch would be a venue to remember!

We love October weddings; because, Fall is one of our favorite times of year! In Fall, people naturally draw closer together, give thanks and serve one another! It is the time of the harvest, the time when we can celebrate the abundance of blessing that has come from our season of labor.

Fall speaks loudest in its smallest details.

And Angie and David’s details were so unique! We ate them up!!! Undisputed favorites included Angie’s birdcage veil, her antique mirror and the timeless Fall floral arrangements that Angie WON at a bridal fair during her engagement!

Once the boots, the birdcage, and Angie’s beautiful dress were on just right, we took a few moments to capture some individual and small group portraits with the bride and groom. Angie radiated so much joy!

The kids at this wedding shined! So. Darn. Cute.!

Soon it was time for the ceremony!!

Shout-out to our wonderful second shooter, Sarah Clark, for capturing the tears that welled up in David’s eyes as his bride made her way down the aisle! Wedding days are defined by the emotions of these moments!

The entire day was such a beautiful picture of two families becoming one!

There’s nothing quite like a husband-wife sunset session! The whole atmosphere of the evening felt bright and airy! Perfect weather, dreamy light and the overwhelming joy that Angie and David shared together made for some of the best shots of the day!

Thinking back on this reception, we could easily talk about the good friends, good food and sweet dance moves, but one of the things that stands out most in our minds is the cake! Extravagant and intricate, detailed and all around GORGEOUS, this was one of our favorite cakes we have ever photographed! Take a look!

Krysta&AJ

Don’t you just love it when something feels RIGHT? When baby giggles fill the air, happy tears seem to be contagious and everywhere you look you see someone you love…those are the days that we live for. On those days, no poet can say it and no artist can paint it; because, it’s already perfect. Krysta and AJ’s Austin wedding set the scene for just that type of day.

September weddings display the perfect balance of the light and freedom of summer and the anticipation and joy of the harvest, and on this perfect day in the Texas Hill Country, every beautiful wedding-day-detail was in just its right place at just the right time! Elegant place settings, flowing floral arrangements and timeless ivory heels whispered a soft but clear message…this was going to be an unforgettable day!

One thing that was clear from the moment we met AJ was that he is CRAZY IN LOVE with Krysta! Rather than having cold feet, this groom was bubbling over with excitement and anticipation…he could. not. wait. to see his girl in her dress! Those feelings came to a head as Krysta made her way down to the end of the long driveway where AJ stared out across the rolling hills, shuffling his feet and waiting for his first look!

After a few sweet moments alone, the couple emerged, smiling from ear-to-ear…perfectly timed for their portraits! Gorgeous vistas and infectious laughter highlighted the remainder of the portrait sessions, and while Krysta and AJ were definitely the stars, their son, Zayvin, gave them a run for their money! He is so stinking cute!!!

From there, the family and bridal party retreated back inside the Red Ridge Reception area to rest and retouch before the ceremony while we made our way to the ceremony spot. Towering oaks and glowing lights provided the perfect canopy for the black iron gazebo as it sat, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the bride and groom!

This day ended more happily than it began, which is saying a lot! The reception had everything a party should: an in-house DJ, a lot of family, a lot of fun and one of the best reaction shots we’ve ever captured (AJ, thanks for “feeding” Krysta a piece of your wedding cake in such an unforgettable fashion)!!!

We are beyond thankful for you! It is a joy to be around you both, and your marriage has been a joy to watch since it began. Stefani&Robbie

Sun soaked and beautiful, Stefani and Robbie's April wedding was the perfect way to wrap up the Spring wedding season in East Texas!

Stefani and Robbie chose one of our favorite East Texas wedding venues to date, The Folmar, in Tyler, Texas! We spent the entire day there on the property where both the guys and the girls had their own houses to hang out and take their time as they got ready for the day's festivities! Stefani and all her girls had such a fun morning, highlighted by Stefani stepping into her BEAUTIFUL wedding gown. As if she had stepped off a page of a bridal magazine, Stefani embodied everything that is elegant and timeless about a wedding!

With every tie straightened and each hair in place, we set out to capture some photos of the bridal party and the families. While we worked with Stefani and the girls, the guys set up sound for the ceremony and traded songs on the ukulele! Then we had the privilege of capturing some of the most breathtaking bridal portraits of Stefani in the little white chapel at the bottom of the hill, there on the grounds of the Folmar.

When all of their guests had gathered on the lawn, Robbie made his way from the top of the hill down the path toward the gorgeous wooden arch he had fashioned with his own hands! He waited anxiously as the processional began, and when it was finally time for his bride to arrive, the looks on both his and Stefani's faces were like something out of a story book! The sweet ceremony was highlighted by flower girl giggles, the exchanging of rings, and an officiant who also happened to be the father of the bride!

Stefani's family and friends, along with Ashley and the rest of the team at the Folmar had done an amazing job at creating the perfect reception setting! There was a bubble machine for the kids, a taco truck for the kids-at-heart, and one of my personal favorites, cold brew coffee! Another special element was the reappearance of the ukulele as Robbie took a moment to play a special song for his new bride!

After dinner, we loaded up the golf cart and rode back down the hill to the chapel to capture a few quick husband/wife portraits with Mr. and Mrs. Zihlman! Once again, the gorgeous backdrop and gorgeous couple delivered some great images!

When the Texas sun dropped below the horizon, we made our way back up the hill to continue the reception! The night was filled with dancing and dip-kisses, toasts and sweet tears, and of course, CAKE!

You two really are picture perfect! Thank you for trusting us to be your wedding photographers! Our prayer for you is that you will continue walk hand-in-hand as you trust God to bring you closer together each day! Katie&Jon

Jon and Katie's April wedding was beyond special! Love, joy, and peace flooded the atmosphere throughout the day as two families became one!

The day began with Katie, her two sweet sisters, and her soon to be sister-in-law getting ready at the Staybridge Suites in Tyler, Texas! Katie's parents also joined us at the hotel for the morning along with the most grownup little flower-girl-baby you ever did see! Meanwhile, Jon and his guys were already at the venue, suiting up for the day! As you can tell this entire group knew how to have fun!!

As soon as Katie slipped into her stunning dress and shoes, the girls were off to catch up with the boys at their gorgeous venue, Villa Montez. Soon after arriving, we found a hidden little corner and set Jon up for his first look at Katie! As wedding photographers, we love when our couples choose the option of a first look; because, then we get to see the happy couple enjoy more of their day together, rather than apart! This particular first look was double the sweetness; because, after Jon turned around to see his beautiful bride-to-be, he then had the chance for a first look at his daughter in her flower girl dress!

Before the ceremony began, we had the opportunity to check out all the elements of the upcoming reception, and we were blown away by the amazing work Ashten at A. Lane Events had done executing Katie's vision for her dream day! Let's just say if I were to redo my own wedding today, I'd have Katie help me choose allll the details because I loved hers sooo much!!

Every ceremony has unique elements that make it special for the bride and groom, and for Katie and Jon this was definitely the case! There were two live pianists handling the processional music, friends and family performing readings and songs, and best of all, Katie's dad officiating the ceremony!

After the kiss, Jon and Katie gave their guests a chance to sit down and begin eating dinner while they peeled away for a few last minute husband/wife portraits under a dreamy East Texas sunset!

The reception for Mr. and Mrs. Stone was everything you hope a celebration will be! The venue, which doubles as a high-end Latin American restaurant during the week, catered delicious hors d'oeuvres and amazing entrées, and rather than opting for a traditional wedding cake, Jon and Katie instead provided their guests with some of the best dessert options from the Villa Montez kitchen! You guys, we eat a lot of wedding cake, but the chocolate cake at this wedding was THE BEST we have ever had!

In addition to making amazing food selections, Jon and Katie picked the perfect day for an outdoor ceremony and reception! The weather could not have been more beautiful which allowed each and every guest the chance to fully enjoy dancing and drinks on the patio under the Texas sky!

From fairy tale father-daughter dances to hilariously well-crafted toasts, to an awesome kiss under a canopy of sparklers, this party truly had it all!

It was an honor to serve you and your families as your wedding photographers! It blesses our hearts to know that your wedding was just a small picture of the full lives you will build together! The atmosphere of love within a family at your wedding was what truly set this day apart as a special day! Morgan&Ryan

Brimming with elegance and romance, Ryan and Morgan's dream wedding is one we won't soon forget! 

The day began with Morgan and her girls being pampered by the team at the Glitz House of Beauty in Odessa Texas, a funky and fun salon where Morgan actually works part time as a hair dresser! Once Morgan and her sweet mom, Dawn, had their hair just right, they then took a few minutes to sneak away to the LaBelle Salon for their final makeup details! Meanwhile, the rest of the bridesmaids finished getting ready, donned their beautiful satin robes and poured the mimosas! Morgan and Dawn made it back just in time to share some last minute laughs and raise a glass to the coming celebration!

From there, we loaded into our cars and headed off to Parker Heights Christian Fellowship to catch up with Ryan and the guys who had already started their getting ready process! This wedding was a first for me; because, instead of my handsome hubby, Tyler, filming a wedding highlight video alongside me or assisting me with photography work, he was on best-man duty!! We are always honored to serve our couples as their wedding photographers on their dream days, but when we get to do it for old friends, it makes it even more special!

Morgan was beyond breathtaking in the elaborately detailed dress that her mom, Dawn, had worn for her wedding 30 years ago! It was so neat to see Morgan honor her family with this special touch, and Ryan was put together perfectly to be her partner at the end of the aisle! The classic church ceremony was highlighted with encouraging words from family, prayers from trusted friends and mentors, and a poignant message from Pastor Mark Bristow. Never before have we been around a bride who was so grateful that her day had finally arrived. You could tell that Morgan was living the fairy tale day she had been dreaming of since she was a little girl, and it was topped off perfectly with a grand exit, an even grander kiss, and a gorgeous getaway car!

As the West Texas sun made its way towards the horizon, the guests made their way across Odessa to the MCM Elegante for the reception! And as always, before the dance floor opened and the momentum of the party really got going, we made sure to snag Ryan and Morgan for some golden hour husband and wife portraits!

The reception continued to flow with the color scheme of the day as bright yellows and deep navy blues highlighted each table. Morgan and Ryan had so many neat personal touches for their party, including a fun candy bar, yummy food and cake and an intimate first dance that had us all swooning!

When the whole day had come and gone, we were left feeling thankful...thankful to know that our friends had found their forever teammates and thankful to know that God will be the rock on which their marriage will be built!
